Job Description:
Empower Life by Connecting People to Power and join the Milbank team as an Electrical Engineer I, working with Engineering and Development at Milbank’s Concordia, MO, plant (once training is complete, time can be split between Concordia and the corporate office). The Electrical Engineer I will be responsible for the electrical design, mechanical design, and documentation of various projects that originate from both external and internal Milbank customers. All of the projects will involve close collaboration with engineering, sales, and production personnel. This individual will occasionally interface directly with our customer to solve their application problems. Our engineers and designers are encouraged to use their creative processes when working on projects and coming up with solutions to the challenges that they may be confronted with. The ability to meet deadlines and work well with others in a fast-paced challenging environment is essential.
Experience Required:
Qualified candidates will have a college degree (bachelor’s) in electrical engineering. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of NEC requirements, familiarity with UL requirements (UL 50, UL 891, UL 508A, etc) and a working understanding of SolidWorks.
